THE ROUTE

For a single afternoon, Howell Mill Road and Marietta Street will be closed to cars between Trabert Avenue and Northside Drive, including a stretch of 17th Street.

Westside Stride will open these 1.5 miles of roads for the community's enjoyment. Picture a giant block party in the Upper Westside!
VEHICULAR ACCESS
DAY-OF

On the day of the event, Howell Mill Rd/Marietta St between Trabert Ave and Northside Drive will close at 9AM but the following cross-streets will remain open:
  • 14th Street
  • Brady Avenue
  • 10th Street 
  • 8th Street
  • West Marietta Street

PARKING

We strongly encourage biking, walking, transit and ride-share to the event, however, if you need to use a car, the following paid parking decks are available options:

This event is all about shining a light on our amazing local businesses. In 2019, when Howell Mill Rd was pedestrian only for an afternoon, over 140,000 people attended! Everyone loves a block party.
